Hunter Douglas Roman Shades

Hunter Douglas Roman Shades

There are so many options when we talk about Roman Shades.  Beautiful fabrics and patterns, soft folds, flat folds, and battened backs, all define the look of Roman Shades.  We especially like the hidden rear cords available today that provide a clean tidy look from the outside; thereby preserving your curb appeal.

Hunter Douglas Vignette

Each Vignette Modern Roman Shade, with flat or contoured folds is designed for a uniform, crisp, and flawless appearance, with no exposed cords. There are two main options for the Vingettes.

  • Rolling: This design rolls the fabric neatly up into a headrail when opened
  • Stacking: This design stacks neatly beneath a low-profile headrail .  If your windowsill is shallow, this may be a great option for you.

The Vignette Duolite Shades combine a light-filtering or sheer front shade with a built-in room-darkening panel.  Both of these fabrics are housed on a single roller.  The single roller design allows for less mounting depth than other dual rolling systems.  The Duolite dual opacity option is available exclusively in the Rolling Style with the 6-inch flat folds and PowerView Automation.

Hunter Douglas Solera

The Hunter Douglas Solera is a grand twist on a Pacific Northwest favorite.  Considered a type of Roman shade, the Solera shades have a similar look to the familiar honeycomb shades, with a much larger pleat size and soft luxurious fabrics in a stunning array of textures.  Solera shades are available with light filtering and room darkening options.

Today’s builders are making windows rather large.  Larger windows can be a challenge to dress and the large scale of these pleats make a gorgeous scale appropriate solution.  Solera shades have the familiar top down / bottom up versatility to allow light in from the top, while protecting your privacy from lower views.
